The ChemQuest Group has appointed Jenna Blankenship director of marketing. She joins The ChemQuest Group from Emerald Kalama Chemical LLC, a company of the LANXESS group, where she served as communications lead.

The company also hired Ann Roever as vice president of sales. Roever will direct the Sales, Technical Service, and Customer Service teams.

Azelis Americas announced that Vuk Milojkovic has joined the company in a senior leadership role as managing director of the United States.

Tnemec has promoted Vaughn O’Dea to director of Epoxytec, a subsidiary of the company. O’Dea will manage all facets of sales, marketing, technical support and growth of the Epoxytec brand. The company also welcomed Brian Cheshire as the new sales director of Water & Wastewater, a position O’Dea held until his new appointment.

AkzoNobel announced that Gregoire Poux-Guillaume will become the company’s new chief executive officer (CEO) as of Nov. 1, 2022. He will succeed Thierry Vanlancker, who has been CEO and a member of the board of management since 2017, and whose term of office is coming to an end. The company also announced the appointment of Roger Jakeman as the company’s chief technology officer, succeeding Klaas Kruithof, who retired.

Giedre Serritslev has been appointed managing director of Teknos A/S in Denmark. The appointment becomes effective Sept. 1, 2022.

American Chemical Solutions (ACS) appointed Jeremy Venter, Ph.D., to the position of chairman of the board of directors.

Elkem appointed Larry Zhang as the new senior vice president for its Silicones division. He will be based in Shanghai, China.
