Engineered Polymer Solutions
EPS® 2786 is a new all-acrylic polymer for high-performance gloss interior and exterior architectural DIY or professional paints. EPS 2786 is a versatile polymer recommended for use in semi-gloss to high-gloss enamels that require exceptional hardness and tack resistance in both white/pastel bases and fully tinted clear/neutral bases. It is ideal for institutional, commercial, or other high-traffic areas. Coatings formulated with EPS 2786 are capable of achieving same-day hot block resistance (50 °C) within hours of being applied, without the use of intentionally added fluorosurfactants.

Elementis
DAPRO® BIO 9910 is a new, 96% bio-based carbon content, C14-verified defoamer designed to add more sustainability and performance in coatings. It is mostly derived from renewable vegetable oil; and offers an eco-friendly alternative to conventional defoamers. The ultra-fine dispersion of wax in vegetable oil is combined with a minor addition of silicone. The defoamer can be used in water-based coatings and has excellent storage stability and no phase separation over a long period of time.

Circular Carbon Blacks

Orion
Orion offers three new circular grade carbon blacks: one for high jetness and two for tinting applications in addition to the new PRINTEX® kappa 50 conductive carbon black. Designed for high-jetness applications, XPB 10045 is based on pyrolysis oil to support the transition to a circular economy. For tinting applications, XPB 10042 powder and XPB 10049 powder are also based on pyrolysis oil and offer the same advantages. PRINTEX kappa 50 meets performance requirements for conductivity, dispersibility, and cleanliness at lower concentrations than conventional conductive carbon blacks.
