ROSS has introduced a 10-cubic-foot V-cone blender designed for uniform mixing of free-flowing dry solids. Its low-impact, tumbling motion helps blend friable ingredients or components with varying densities and sizes. The system includes stainless steel product contact surfaces and a 7.5 HP motor driving vessel rotation up to 20 rpm. A dust-tight butterfly valve allows for efficient discharge, and the frame provides a 54-inch clearance beneath the valve. Safety features include a front safety gate with interlocks and a fixed rear guard. The pre-mounted NEMA 12 control panel features a color touchscreen, cycle timer, jog function and emergency stop.

Borchers, a Milliken & Company brand, has introduced Borchi® Dragon Low VOC, a cobalt-free, manganese-based catalyst for alkyd coatings with only 2% VOC content. It is designed to meet global regulatory standards while delivering fast drying, reduced yellowing, higher flash point, and improved hardness — even under ambient curing conditions. With up to 92% bio-based carbon, the catalyst supports sustainability goals and safe handling practices. It expands Borchers’ range of high-performance, cobalt-free solutions for solventborne and solvent-free alkyd systems. The product joins existing alternatives such as Borchi® OXY-Coat and Borchi® Phoenix.

Evonik's TEGO® Foamex 8051 is a highly efficient siloxane defoamer developed for waterborne decorative coatings. The 100%-active polyethersiloxane concentrate provides strong defoaming and knock-down performance, even in high-PVC formulations and under high shear. It maintains its effectiveness over time, including after storage and during grinding. Free of added mineral oils, with VOC content at 0.08% and SVOC content at 0.19%, the defoamer supports compliance with Ecolabel 2014/312/EU and other global regulations. The product contains no reportable hazardous substances and is registered in major markets worldwide.

X-Rite has introduced a new imaging benchtop spectrophotometer designed for color measurement of small, multicolored and reflective parts. The system measures spots as small as 2 mm and includes on-screen targeting and virtual apertures ranging from 2–12 mm for improved accuracy. It also captures and stores images for traceability and extracts multiple colors from a single sample. The device supports SPIN/SPEX capability and brilliance measurement, which is important for metallic and high-gloss materials. Applications include luxury goods, consumer electronics and molded components. The unit integrates with Color iQC software for a complete digital workflow.

A new line of screw centrifugal pumps is now available with electropolished wetted parts for enhanced corrosion resistance and extended service life. Each pump is tested at the voltage and frequency of its intended destination. Designed for fluids with solids, fibrous content or high viscosity, the units minimize clogging while enabling gentle handling. Suitable for use in wastewater treatment, food processing, agriculture and chemical applications, the pumps combine high hydraulic efficiency with low maintenance demands. This makes them well suited for challenging environments where durability and operational cost are key concerns.

PPG has introduced PPG ENVIROLUXE™ Plus powder coatings, formulated without intentionally added PFAS and containing up to 18% post-industrial recycled plastic (rPET). The product offers a carbon footprint reduction of up to 30% compared to standard durable powders, while maintaining performance. These coatings feature excellent transfer efficiency, reclaimable overspray, and low-VOC emissions. Suitable applications include office furniture, fencing, shelving and racking systems.
