FM Approvals tested and certified, Firefree 88 is a water-based latex intumescent coating, and is the first and only intumescent coating to pass the FM 4470 (NFPA 276) roof assemblies for use in Class 1 and non-combustible roof deck construction assemblies. The coating can be applied to a variety of materials. It prevents flame spread and reduces smoke generation to the coated substrates. Test results have shown it is able to withstand temperatures up to 2,200 °F. Firefree 88 can be applied over most existing latex paint, or it can be top coated with latex paint, which will not impact the performance of the coating.

Dürr’s new EcoSupply2 Core is a modular paint supply station that integrates all the necessary components into a compact design. The system is ideal for all industrial applications where painting happens in a confined space, and is certified for the European, U.S., and Asian markets. The system combines multiple products: an agitator, pumps or pressure tanks that transport the paint, filters for material purification, and pressure controllers. The user-friendly nanotube dispersion TUBALLTM MATRIX 617 results in excellent electrical conductivity combined with more than 90% transparency in a wide range of peeling-strength PSA films.
