Engineered Polymer Solutions
EPS® 2786 is a new all-acrylic polymer for high-performance gloss interior and exterior architectural DIY or professional paints. EPS 2786 is a versatile polymer recommended for use in semi-gloss to high-gloss enamels that require exceptional hardness and tack resistance in both white/pastel bases and fully tinted clear/neutral bases. It is ideal for institutional, commercial, or other high-traffic areas. Coatings formulated with EPS 2786 are capable of achieving same-day hot block resistance (50 °C) within hours of being applied, without the use of intentionally added fluorosurfactants.

PU Dispersion

Covestro
New Impranil® CQ DLU aliphatic polyester carbonate polyether polyurethane (PU) dispersion for textile coatings is partially bio-based, with 34% of the carbon contained within the product coming from plant origin. CQ stands for "Circular Intelligence". The core idea of the CQ concept is to label Covestro products if the alternative raw material base exceeds a content of 25%. It is suitable, among other things, for producing synthetic materials for sports articles, technical textiles, car interiors, and bags. Properties of coatings based on the new high-performance dispersion include excellent hydrolysis resistance, very good lightfastness, as well as high tensile strength and scratch resistance.

ECKART
LUXAN CFX B604 Midnight Silver complements Eckart’s range of pigments for autonomous vehicles. This range of special pigments with a metallic look has a high radar transparency, which is essential for applications such as autonomous driving and where conventional metallic effect pigments reach their limits. The new pigment adds sparkling silver highlights to the coating and can be combined with other pigments — in particular with aluminum effect pigments and from the special SYMIC OEM Opaque Silver product range for autonomous driving. It also has excellent shear stability and intercoat adhesion.

AkzoNobel
Curing at temperatures 30 °C lower than traditional powder coatings means that Interpon D1036 Low-E can help customers cut energy consumption by as much as 20%. It can also cure up to 25% faster than conventional powders, allowing for more products to be coated in less time. The coating’s sustainability credentials are backed by an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), an independently verified assessment of a product's environmental impact across its whole lifespan.

PPG
PPG DP7000 air-dry primer saves body shops time and energy thanks to fast air drying, helping to increase productivity and profitability, and reduce environmental impact. It is a two-pack acrylic primer that is fully compliant with European VOC regulations. It dries up to twice as fast as competing air-dry technologies and works in all humidity conditions. Baking or infrared curing can be also carried out when air drying is not appropriate. Available in three grey shades to allow optimization of the topcoat color. It is easy to prepare, mix and apply, and offers flexible dry film thickness and superior sanding properties.

Controlled Containment System

HEMCO
Controlled Containment System (CCS) Enclosures are engineered to safely contain and control airborne particulates to and from sampling procedures. Dispensing from drums and weighing procedures are typical applications. Drums or equipment can be easily rolled into the enclosure through the strip curtain entrance. Both the process and surrounding environment are protected from contamination. A downward flow of HEPA-filtered air maintains a cleanliness level at drum or working height, while all exhaust air exits out through HEPA filters in the rear wall at floor level. The interior is under slight negative pressure to ensure that no contaminant escapes out of the enclosure.

INDCO
Custom mixing systems from INDCO are engineered to optimize unique processing projects including batch size, material properties, agitation levels, and more to achieve desired process results. Working closely with customers to fully understand industry requirements as well as operational and site-specific constraints, INDCO engineers can develop a mixing system including mixers and tanks from simple open-top designs to full ASME jacketed vessels. Whether temperature is controlled to ensure viscosity of materials, to utilize heat as a catalyst, or for other reasons, jacketed tanks are often a crucial element of custom mixing system designs. If standard INDCO mixers are not ideally suited for the task, company engineers can customize one.

Shimadzu
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments has introduced the IRSpirit-X series Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrophotometers: the entry-level IRSpirit-LX, high-sensitivity IRSpirit-TX, and moisture-resistant IRSpirit-ZX. Housed in a small, lightweight design, they are equipped with the IR Pilot™ analysis navigation program, which enables operators unfamiliar with FTIR analysis to obtain data easily, and the patent-pending spectrum advisor function that judges the quality of the measurement results and proposes how to obtain favorable data. With FTIR analysis, measurements are performed with optional attachments according to the analysis objective, and the measurement conditions must be set for each attachment.

Tnemec
Series 108 and 109 yield the next evolutionary step in Tnemec’s world of low-stress penetrating epoxy sealers. The products bring additional performance and convenience features to the marketplace, such as extended pot life and recoat windows, low-temperature cure, shipping and packaging advantages, and more. The series is designed to adhere to a multitude of substrates, including old finishes, and are frequently used as an overcoating primer. Series 108 and 109 are solvent-free coatings applied at a low film thickness to reduce stress and weight on old, tightly adhered coatings, creating a reliable foundation to accept high-performance epoxy and polyurethane finishes.
