The MV Multi-Trap® Vacuum Inlet Trap features a large knockdown stage to collect heavy solid and condensable contaminants and can include up to six separate stages of user-selectable, replaceable filter elements. Ideal for protecting central-source vacuum systems from 70 to 2,000 CFM, this modular trap can neutralize acids, organics, particulates and water vapors. Providing up to 99.999% efficiency, the trap can be tailored to specific vacuum systems by selecting stainless steel gauze, copper gauze, molecular sieve, activated alumina, activated charcoal, Sodasorb®, and pleated polypropylene elements. Traps are suitable for laboratory designers, system manufacturers and end users.

Featuring electro-polished and passivated product-contact surfaces, the VersaMix is designed for full vacuum operation as well as internal pressure up to
5 psig to accommodate nitrogen blanketing. This ROSS model has an ASME-stamped mixing vessel supplied with a matching platen-style discharge system. CE-marked motors and ATEX-rated operator panels are suitable for use in a Zone 1 classified area. These features are available across the entire suite of VersaMix sizes ranging from 1 to 500 gallons. Larger models in a fixed-tank configuration are also available.

HEMCO “CCS” Controlled Containment System enclosures safely contain and control airborne particulate to and from sampling procedures. Drums or equipment can be easily rolled into the enclosure through the strip-curtain entrance. Both the process and surrounding environment are protected. A downward flow of HEPA-filtered air maintains a cleanliness level at drum or working height while all exhaust air exits out through HEPA filters in the rear wall at floor level. The interior is under slight negative pressure to ensure that no contaminant escapes out of the enclosure.

TEGO® Foamex 812 is a new defoamer developed to help formulators of wood coatings address the increasing regulatory requirements for their products. It meets the requirements of the current labels for low-pollutant paints and coatings including the European EcoLabels and the relevant IKEA standards. For food-contact applications, the defoamer meets the requirements of Swiss A and FDA, among others. TEGO Foamex 812 does not contain any biocides or reportable SVHC substances. In addition to pigment concentrates, possible applications include printing inks with food contact, automotive coatings and can coatings.

This new combination attritor mill brings greater levels of speed and efficiency to the media grinding process. It combines the benefits of the HD and HDDM attritors into one versatile unit. In the past, a changeover required releasing a belt guard, moving the belt to an alternate set of pulleys, replacing the guard, and changing the coupling, shaft and cover. The HD/HDDM combination attritor eliminates this process and provides the benefit of two mills in one. Both larger grinding media and micron particle size targets can be achieved with a simple changeover.

Ecobulk MX 560 has a lower height than standard models and a nominal volume of 560 liters or 150 gallons, making it ideal for applications where smaller containers are an advantage, but where maximum performance and the highest quality are also decisive. It combines optimum filling volume with a compact design on Schütz’s proven bottom group, making all MX models fully compatible. The pallet size makes optimum use of the storage and transport space in standardized large-capacity containers, even for mixed loads with larger MX IBC variants.

The FRITSCH variable-speed rotor mill PULVERISETTE 14 classic line is ideal for the comminution of difficult-to-grind samples like temperature-sensitive powder coatings and plastic samples due to the line’s efficient air cooling and cyclone separators. An automatic speed compensation feature ensures an ideal adaptation of the grinding to the specific comminution behavior of the sample. Air routing ensures a constant airflow to cool the grinding material, and a fan blows the air into the instrument through a foam particle filter, creating positive pressure to prevent penetration of dirt particles from the ambient air.
