In addition, as part of its community engagement focus, PPG and the PPG Foundation invested $13.3 million in 2021 to support more than 500 community partners and programs across more than 40 countries. Notes: In February of 2021, Sherwin-Williams Co. announced it had signed a purchase agreement with global coatings company Hempel A/S to divest Wattyl, an Australian and New Zealand manufacturer and seller of architectural and protective paint and coatings with annual revenue of approximately $200 million and 750 employees. In August 2021, the company signed an agreement to acquire the European industrial coatings business of Sika AG, and the sale was finalized in April of 2022.
