Datacolor has released significant software portfolio updates, including the integration of Colibri® support and enhancements to its color matching and quality control (QC) tools. The latest version of the Colibri workflow software (version 24.1), includes many new features, including increased security, improved recipe correction and performance enhancements. Datacolor is also upgrading its Match Pigment, Match Textile, and Tools QC software solutions, in efforts to improve speed, security, and reliability. Colibri provides easy access to software upgrades and dedicated support services, ensuring that customer systems remain up to date with the latest performance enhancements.

BYK-MAX P 4109 and BYK-MAX P 4110 are two new polymer processing aids (PPA) that prevent melt fracture, reduce the viscosity of the melt, reduce die build-up, and allow faster material changes. The rapid effectiveness of the two additives cuts long rinsing times and allows fast product changes. In addition, both products are thermostable and are easy to handle.

Coatings based on Evonik's TEGO® Therm products are a robust solution to the industry's demand for effective thermal insulation barriers, which are essential for preventing thermal runaway in EV batteries. TEGO Therm HPG 4000 granules boast a microporous silica core, which provides superior low thermal conductivity, high hydrophobicity, and reduced flammability. TEGO Therm HPG 6806, a finer silica-based granule, strengthens mechanical performance and ensures smooth, even surfaces of insulation coatings. The waterborne polysiloxane hybrid binder, TEGO Therm L 300, further enhances the thermal stability and fire resistance.

NanoCORR Shield is a graphene-enhanced chemical additive designed to increase the corrosion resistance of solvent-based paints and coatings, and has demonstrated a 30-70% increase in corrosion resistance when subjected to salt spray testing. The addition of a small amount of specially developed graphene, an ultra-strong carbon nanomaterial, into paint and coatings allows for an increase in the barrier effect against corrosive elements such as water, oxygen, and chlorides.

The newly reconditioned ROSS DPM-100 Double Planetary Mixer is constructed with stainless steel type 304 components and features a change can design with hydraulic lift, and interchangeable mix cans for semi-continuous operation. This mixer is suitable for mixing under vacuum and is equipped with a touchscreen, variable-speed control system. Helical HV blades revolve steadily around the edge of the vessel, pushing materials forward and downward, while rotating on individual axes and guiding the product from the sidewalls to the center. With variable speeds ranging from 6 to 22 rpm for orbital motion and 7 to 28 rpm for stirrer motion, the DPM-100 can be used in a variety of mixing applications, including wet pastes and slurries, dry powders and granulations, and viscous semi-solids such as doughs and gels.

The new B3 Battery from Lutz Pumpen enables safe, mobile working with aggressive liquids without the need to compromise on pumping performance compared to cable-connection versions. The drum pump is battery operated and quieter than a vacuum cleaner. Equipped with a brushless DC motor, the drum pump has an output of 320 watts. This powerful electric motor provides a delivery rate of up to 180 litters per minute and a delivery head of 11.8 meters water column. It can pump up to 5,800 litters electrically with a single battery charge and can be combined with a number of pump tubes. The B3 Battery is extremely simple to operate. Switching on the drum pump activates a high-performance propeller, which generates a flow channel with up to 10,000 revolutions per minute.
