AG&E Structural Engenuity (AG&E) announced that Steven C. Ball, PE, SE, joined the company as Executive Principal and Director of Aviation. Based in AG&E’s Austin, Texas, office, Ball will work to build and further develop client relationships in the aviation industry.

Specialty chemicals distributor Barentz welcomed Brad Baumann to its expanding CASE & Plastics technical sales team as a Sales Manager covering the West Coast. The company also welcomed Patrick Tuck to its CASE & Plastics technical sales team as an Account Manager covering the Ontario and Western Canada Region.

Scott Becker, the President and CEO of Chromaflo Technologies Corp., rejoined the American Coatings Association board of directors.

Dr. Gavin Bown joined Beckers as the company’s new Chief Technology Officer. Reporting directly to CEO Christophe Sabas, Bown will be responsible for leading and managing scientific and technological development, expanding Beckers’ product portfolio and creating breakthrough innovations.

Sean Douglas notified Huntsman Corp. of his intent to resign as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer effective July 1, 2021. Douglas has accepted a full-time calling to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The ChemQuest Group hired one of its longstanding clients, Robert J. (Bud) Equi, as a Director to support clientele who are assessing new technology, process and market opportunities.

Mickey Fortune was promoted to Associate Executive Director, Education and Outreach, at RadTech, The Association for Ultraviolet and Electron Beam (UV+EB) Technologies. The association also announced two new board members: Dr. Eric Nelson, Staff Scientist, 3M Corporate Research Process Laboratory Radiation Processing Group; and Dr. Kejia Yang, Materials Engineer at Align Technology. Yang and Nelson will serve through 2022. In addition, Mike Bonner, VP, Engineering & Technology, Saint Clair Systems Inc., was elected to join the RadTech Executive Committee as Secretary. Dan Marx, a printing industry veteran with nearly three decades of industry experience, will help lead the Sustainability Committee.

Admix Inc. appointed Thom Hansen as Chief Operating Officer. Hansen will play a key role in advancing the company’s manufacturing, assembly, supply chain and regulatory compliance efficiencies through lean principles and process improvement methodologies.

Palmer Holland Inc. announced that W. Bryn Irvine will retire as Chief Executive Officer effective June 30, 2021. Irvine will remain as Chairman of the Board of Directors. C. Bradley Steven, who has served as President since 2017, will replace Irvine as President and CEO.

Marcia Karwowski joined specialty chemical distributor dar-tech inc. as a Customer Service Representative responsible for processing orders, developing standard operating procedures, implementing systems projects and supporting customer needs.

Motion Industries Inc. promoted Jim May to Director of Corporate Development. May will continue his involvement in Motion’s strategic planning but will take on direct responsibility for advancing the company’s acquisition strategy and processes.

Marius Muehlenberg, CEO of DEFOTEC Entschäumer Vertriebs-GmbH, is now also the CEO of LEVACO Chemicals Group and LEVACO Chemicals GmbH. Departing CEO Ingo Notz will participate in future business endeavors of LEVACO Chemicals Group and LEVACO Chemicals GmbH as a close business adviser at DS-Chemie Holding.

Frank Naber is the new head of the Automotive OEM Coatings Solutions EMEA business unit at BASF’s Coatings division. He succeeds Thomas Kloster, who is President of the Performance Chemicals division in Ludwigshafen, Germany.

Birla Carbon appointed Dr. Ann Schoeb as Chief Research and Development Officer. Schoeb will have full responsibility for the research and development work at Birla Carbon and will join the company’s Senior Management Team.

MicroCare LLC appointed John Stardellis to be the company’s new Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Kimberley Dilts joined MicroCare as the Global Regulatory Manager, and Dylan Griswold joined the company as Senior Sourcing Analyst.

The Massman Companies, a manufacturer of industrial packaging machinery, promoted Mark Suchy to the new position of Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
