A color and gloss bench-top spectrophotometer, Spectrophotometer CM-36dG features an integrated ISO 2813-compliant, 60° gloss sensor inside to measure color and true gloss simultaneously. Along with higher inter-instrument agreement and performance, the CM-36dG includes several new features to improve the user experience. It is a high-precision and high-reliability bench-top instrument capable of measuring color either in reflectance or transmittance and ideally suited to a wide range of applications including paints. HYDROPALAT® WE 3102, 3103 and 3104 are non-ionic, low-foaming wetting agents suitable for a wide range of applications, including aqueous coatings, inks and cements. As non-silicone-based additives, they do not disturb the cohesion of layers and are highly efficient, enabling reduced dosage. The ROSS Double Cone Tumble Blender (Model DCB) is designed for large-scale yet intimate blending of free-flowing solids in a full suite of laboratory, pilot and production sizes. In a highly repeatable process, minor and micro ingredients are thoroughly distributed throughout the batch more gently than in the more common V-shaped geometry without damaging fragile or sensitive components. Rated for vacuum up to 29.5"Hg, the jacketed, 75-cubic-foot Double Cone Blender (Model DCB-75, shown) heats and dries product with superior efficiency as it is being blended. New technologies developed by Oxiteno enable the formulation of low- and zero-VOC exterior paints with higher dirt pick-up resistance, improved film formation, and reduced surfactant leaching from paints. The new coalescing agent, ULTRAFILM® 5000, allows the formulation of paints with reduced VOC without compromising dirt pick-up resistance while increasing water resistance and reducing pigment leaching. The Intelligent Paint Kitchen control for pneumatic pumps and agitators extends remote management to industrial paint supply and circulation systems with all types of finishing equipment. The Intelligent Paint Kitchen has a smart set of sensors, actuators and control modules that communicate with each other to optimize factory paint circulation and supply. It allows pump control (pressure and flow rates), tank control (tank levels and agitator speeds) and overall (remote) control. The enhanced ParticleScout automated particle analysis tool offers even greater speed and versatility for finding, classifying and identifying microparticles. It now includes integration time optimization that uses the signal-to-noise ratio to determine how long each particle is measured for identification. It has added image processing features such as vignetting correction, smart zoom that displays particle information dynamically depending on viewed area, and multiple sample area targeting. The chemical-resistant, extra-tough glass-reinforced nylon guide locks provide fast, easy spray nozzle changes and are available in multiple sizes to fit all spray nozzles.
