The Joncryl 953X portfolio includes five straight acrylic dispersions for furniture and floor coatings. All of them are multi-purpose and fine-particle sized, and customers can choose products with low to zero co-solvent demand. Joncryl 9530 offers excellent grain enhancement and chemical resistance. EXP 8018-1 is a wax-treated, finer grade precipitated silica matting agent developed specially for applications where super-fine surface haptics combined with high transparency are targeted. Applications include high-performance waterborne and solventborne coatings for wood and plastic applications. It is suitable for both pigmented and clear formulations. SPHERILEX® DP-0115 is a precipitated silica for obtaining efficient, uniform, consistent and predictable matting in powder coatings. Incorporating a high-shear rotor/stator into a dual-shaft mixer provides for more intense shearing and homogenization requirements. Instead of a conventional high-speed disperser blade, the rotor and slotted stator mixing head, also often called a homogenizer, affords more advanced deagglomeration and emulsification capabilities. Complementing the high-shear mixer, a two-wing anchor promotes bulk flow and uniform batch temperature. The Dynatrol® GJ level switch can operate as high- or low-point level indicators for bulk solids that tend to pack or bridge easily. The GJ Detector operates successfully with consistent results on applications such as powder coatings, additives, fillers, flakes and many other granulated materials. Dynatrol level switches measure dry bulk solids ranging from less than 15.0 lbs/ft³ to greater than 60 lbs/ft³. The portfolio of Tenray products includes coated and uncoated ultrafine zinc oxides, food and non-food approved grades. Because they are photo-stable, heat-stable and non-migratory, they provide long-term durability. With an ultrafine particle size, these zinc oxides can be used in transparent applications without impacting transparency.
