Sherplate™ 600 meets the new NSF/ANSI/CAN 600: Health Effects Evaluation and Criteria in Drinking Water standard, which will drastically reduce the maximum contaminant levels (MCLs) of xylene, toluene, and ethylbenzene found within coating and lining products certified for potable water storage use. Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine’s high-solids epoxy lining is completely free of the restricted solvents. The high-solids Sherplate 600 epoxy phenalkamide lining does not contain xylene, toluene, ethylbenzene, or even oxsol, which may lose exempt status in the very near future.

The VersaMix multi-shaft mixers from ROSS are ideal for processing medium- to high-viscosity applications up to several hundred-thousand centipoise, such as thick slurries, pastes, gels, and suspensions. The 3,000-gallon VersaMix model VM-3000 is equipped with a custom combination of three agitators, each driven by a 60 HP TEFC inverter-duty motor. The three-wing anchor and two screw augers are all independently controlled with variable speeds, working together to ensure efficient batch turnover at every ingredient addition and mixing stage.

The new digital platform, ClariCoat, is a results-focused web application for additives. ClariCoat allows customized property selection covering a wide range of performance criteria from liquid paint stability and workability to sustainability. Once the criteria selection is complete, the product recommendation engine proposes the most suitable additives covering the needs of the paint formulator. For quick fixes, ClariCoat has captured the most frequent paint formulator issues, such as phase separation or compatibility, providing a list of additives that solve these issues in just one click.

Delta T Systems’ new chillers combine variable-speed technology with a proprietary auto tank-leveling algorithm. This allows manufacturers to eliminate the need for a separate pump tank, which lowers upfront costs, achieves energy savings, and reduces the risk of production downtime. These chillers use redundant VFD pumps integrated in each unit, making it possible to eliminate the need for a central pump tank and a separate pump for hot and cold water processes.
