The Supermill Plus offers the latest in horizontal disc mill technology. CMC’s specially designed fluidizer discs agitate the beads inside the mill to make them flow in various directions. This provides high-intensity action that shears and breaks down particles as they flow through the horizontal chamber. The ability to set up the discs in various ways gives processors the flexibility to produce a wide range of products.

With the new STANDART® PREMIOR Gold range, coarse leafing cornflake pigments are available in two gold metallic shades: Pale Gold (STANDART PREMIOR Gold 2040) and Rich Pale Gold (STANDART PREMIOR Gold 3040). Optimized grinding and polishing procedures during the production process produce brilliance and opacity. The gold powders do not contain lubricants of animal origin. The powder is filled into a light PE bag, which is inserted into the steel drum. This makes handling easy, counteracts contamination of the drum, and provides an environmentally friendly disposal or reuse. Applications include interior wood and plastic coatings.

NuVera® products are derived from plant-based biomass such as vegetable oils or sugars. They can also be made from a third renewable raw material category – captured carbon – in which CO₂ released from industrial processes is captured and used as a feedstock for producing polymeric building blocks. Applications include pre-skin and topcoat formulations, PUD resins, adhesives and basecoats. The range currently comprises four polyurethane resin binders that are available as co-solvent-free, water-based dispersions.

Equalizer® Surge Dampeners – Integrated SD Series (ISD) bolted metal option helps minimize vibration and control pipe hammer to protect the system piping and downstream instrumentation. The dampeners are installed at the pump’s discharge and have been specifically engineered to reduce fluid pressure and flow fluctuations for a smoother discharge flow. They are available in 25 mm (1”), 38 mm (1-1/2”) and 51 mm (2”) sizes. The bolted-construction design and PTFE, Buna backed, integral piston diaphragms offer maximum process fluid containment. Applications include the coatings and chemical industries.

EPS® 2157 is an innovative resin for protective films for appliances, doors and glass, as well as any applications where protective masking is required. It is an all-acrylic polymer emulsion for use in removable, pressure-sensitive adhesive applications. Ideal for the film and tape market segments, it exhibits moderate peel and tack with high-shear values. EPS 2157 reportedly distinguishes itself from other resins in this space, offering a “soft” peel as compared to other products with equivalent peel and tack that have a harder, “zip-like” peel.

The Colibri® color management suite helps save money by reducing R&D and production costs. A proprietary, multiflux algorithm predicts how colors and opacity will appear on a range of materials. The Color Quality feature can also be used to assure there is a limited deviation from the target colors throughout the manufacturing process. Features include: the ability to tailor formulas based on pigment cost or availability; a single central database that allows users to customize the software pertinent to the needs of their business; and pre-defined templates to simplify workflows.

ROSS sanitary Vertical Blenders are engineered for rapid homogenization and drying of delicate applications under vacuum. The design avoids the destructive effects of heat on unstable ingredients; it promotes vaporization at lower temperatures during gentle agitation while preventing oxidation. For cooling or heating needs, the cone wall features an ASME code-stamped 100-psig dimpled jacket with mineral wool insulation and stainless steel sheathing. Wash-down duty motors accommodate intensive facility cleaning protocols.

Thioplast EPS 35 enables high-performance coatings and adhesives to withstand harsh environments in the construction, automotive, aerospace, marine and energy industries.
