Dow’s RHOPLEX™ RN-128 Emulsion is a 100% acrylic resin for interior flat and semigloss paints. The resin contains about 27% bio-based carbon from renewable resources and delivers performance comparable to conventional acrylics. It can help paints qualify for USDA BioPreferred. The formulation has no added alkylphenol ethoxylates (APEO) or per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and supports low-VOC emissions. Suitable for a range of paint applications, RHOPLEX RN-128 balances performance and environmental goals.

Excelitas introduced the Phoseon FireLine FL400-i, a UV LED curing system for harsh environments such as pipe and metal coatings. Built on the FireLine FL400 platform, the FL400-i features an IP66-rated enclosure with upgraded window sealing, robust end caps and optional sacrificial glass to protect optics. It supports analog, RS-485 and Modbus TCP control, and offers straight or barbed water fittings plus CDA ports to manage condensation in high heat. The system delivers uniform UV output using a patented SLM array and cooling technologies, and it is mercury- and ozone-free.

A new line of powder-handling enclosures from HEMCO is available for weighing, sampling and automated lab processes. Offered in standard or custom sizes, EnviroMax systems can be configured with HEPA-filtered exhaust or supply depending on whether operator or product protection is needed. Available in unitized or modular formats, the enclosures offer options such as horizontal or vertical sashes, work surfaces, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical access and ventilation integration. The systems suit packaging, high-throughput screening and other critical powder-handling tasks in lab or production settings.

ROSS introduced a custom coaxial mixer for a wide viscosity range in coatings, adhesives, sealants and composites. The design pairs a two-wing anchor with a pitched-blade propeller, each driven independently by a 15 hp explosion-proof motor. The 1,100-gallon mixer supports full vacuum to 29.5 in. Hg and pressure to 15 psig at 300 °F. A NEMA 12 control panel includes dual VFDs, remote control capability and safety features. The stainless-steel vessel has a two-zone, ASME-stamped jacket and a 4-inch pneumatic flush valve for discharge.

Paul N. Gardner Company (GARDCO) introduced the RTM Digital Micrometer, a precision instrument for measuring surface profile with replica tape. Designed for technical professionals, the micrometer automates calculations, stores up to 250 readings and exports data via USB in CSV format. Features include dual-unit measurement, a high-contrast digital display and a durable metal housing. Each unit includes a certificate of calibration and complies with ASTM, ISO, NACE and SSPC standards. A complete RT kit is also available with the micrometer, three grades of replica tape, burnishing tools, accessories and a carrying case.

INDCO introduced its TMD series plate-mount mixers for open or covered tanks up to 2,000 gallons at atmospheric pressure. The mixers install using a bolted connection on a rigid tank cover or support structure with a matching bolt-hole pattern. All wetted parts are 316 stainless steel for durability and chemical resistance. Direct-drive versions include marine-style propellers; gear-reduced models feature hydrofoil impellers. Single- and three-phase motors are available, as are air motors with needle-valve speed control. The mixers are manufactured in New Albany, Indiana, and offered with short lead times.
